Abstract

This research explores how emotional intelligence affects decision-making quality in Saïdal, Algeria, highlighting its practical significance. Using a quantitative correlational methodology, the study examines self-awareness, self-regulation, and social competence. Data were collected via structured questionnaires and in-depth interviews with professionals making strategic and operational decisions. Findings show a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and decision-making effectiveness, with regression analysis identifying self-awareness as the only significant predictor of decision-making quality. This underscores its crucial role in improving decision outcomes, while the impact of self-regulation and social skills is more context-dependent.
