E-learning in higher education in Algeria: case study : university of chlef

Abstract

We tried through this study to dive into the field of e-learning in higher education in Algeria and the University of Chlef was our study sample that we have tried to understand it E-Learning system and its problems. We focused on scientific documents online sharing as a first step into e-learning and the instructors were the center of our study in order to understand the reasons of why teachers of higher education are not able to put their own lessons on the Internet and the difficulties they face to transfer from traditional education to the modern electronic ones. We also covered the distance-learning center at Chlef University and discovered its quality of services that provides, we came out with results and suggestions that help teachers share their lessons on the Internet in order to contribute the electronic education integration in the Algerian university the sooner possible.
