dc.description.abstractin goals, interests, and perceptions between employees and management. This study aims to explore the influence of organizational conflict on two main outcomes: employee performance and task execution efficiency. To achieve this, we adopted a quantitative methodology based on documentary analysis, direct observation, and a structured questionnaire administered and distributed to 70 employees within the Production Department at Sonatrach, Gassi Touil. The questionnaire was designed around four key dimensions which are: types of conflict, conflict management strategies, employee performance, and task execution efficiency. The results show that relationship conflict had a mostly negative impact on performance, while task and process conflicts, when present at moderate levels and managed properly, were found to enhance innovation and team collaboration. Furthermore, conflict management strategies such as confrontation and compromise were the most effective in improving both employee performance and task execution. On the contrary, unmanaged conflict or reliance on avoidance strategies was associated with low productivity and deteriorated work relationships. These findings suggest that understanding the nature of conflict and applying suitable management strategies can mitigate negative outcomes and transform organizational conflict into a constructive force.
