Abstract

The instability and turbulence in which companies have been evolving for nearly three decades have led to reflections on the approaches and tools for their adaptation to frequent changes, their anticipation of these changes, and thus the achievement of the targeted performance levels. As such, organizational agility is a construct that offers the company levers and attributes allowing it to achieve the targeted performance through a greater satisfaction of market needs and efficient adaptation to changes in the environment. Through a review of the literature, this paper attempts to trace the evolution of the concept of agility in different fields of management sciences and to present an approach to its implementation in the company.
