dc.description.abstractThe study focused on the effect of training and development on employees’ performance at” the Direction des grandes entreprises”. The overall objective of the study is to determine the effect of training and development on employees’ performance. The study adopted a quantitative approach and used both primary and secondary data sources. The collected data were analyzed by using the statistical packages system for social sciences (SPSS). Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used for the data analysis. Results show that there was a positive and significant effect between training needs assessment and employee performance at the DGE. The study indicates that training and development were positively correlated and have a statistically significant relationship with employee performance.
