| dc.description.abstract | This study explores the role of SAP ERP in enhancing preventive maintenance within ENAFOR, a major Algerian drilling company. Using a qualitative methodology, the research investigates how the Plant Maintenance (PM) module supports planning, inventory coordination, and continuous improvement in maintenance processes. Data was collected through interviews with key personnel and document analysis. Findings show that SAP ERP enables real-time monitoring, improves cross-departmental collaboration, and ensures full traceability of maintenance and inventory activities. The system's integration and data-driven capabilities enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support strategic decision-making. The study highlights the potential of ERP systems to transform maintenance management in asset-intensive industries. | |
