dc.description.abstractThis study aims to shed light on credit risk in Islamic Banks, through a field study in Al Salam Bank-Algeria to investigate the factors of the increase in the overdue amount. Therefore we carried out interviews with the bank staff members and questionnaire with the defaulting borrowers. The results showed that there are several deficiencies in the system of the bank, while MCA showed four categories of defaulting borrowers.
